Preparing for protocols

Hydration

  • You must be well hydrated. Electricity can’t be properly conducted if your cells are not well hydrated and your body needs extra water to flush out any toxins.
  • Add minerals or celtic sea salt to your water

Breath

  • Make sure you are nose breathing and from the belly, not the chest
  • practice box breathing (in for 4, hold for 4, exhale for 4, hold for 4 and repeat) or 4×8 breathing
  • If you have asthma, sleep apnoea, snoring, mouth breathing, hay fever or any other breathing issues see a breathing coach

Grounding

  • Get into nature and sit on the ground, gardening, touch trees etc
  • Put your feet in the sea, soil, sand, earth
  • Get a grounding sheet or mat

Movement

  • Get outside and fill lungs with fresh air and feel the sunshine
  • Somatic exercises – swimming, walking fascia stretches
  • Moving the body removes toxins and suppressed energy from the body
  • Weight bearing exercises increase bone density, strength, metabolism and support your structure – can be your own weight, rebounding etc

Joy/Gratitude

  • Shift your perspective from “Life is happening to me” to “Life is happening for me”.
  • Spend time around kids
  • Create magical moments in life or practice seeing the magic in life
  • Practice writing a daily gratitude journal
